Tracy Arkell attended York University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1992. She graduated with her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1997.
Tracy articled with McMillan Binch, a large corporate law firm in Toronto. She joined the firm in January 1999, and became a partner in 2006.
Tracy concentrates her practice in two areas. The first area is real estate, which includes residential and commercial purchases, sales and mortgages. Her second area of practice is in Corporate and Commercial Law. This includes acquisitions and sales, leases, and secured transactions. As counsel to the County of Simcoe, she has completed various transactions from road acquisitions to the development of municipal non-profit housing. Her clients include private individuals and development interests, as well as the firm’s municipal clients.
Tracy is a member of the Simcoe County Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association. She has served on the board of directors for the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka and is active in the local community.
